EDUCATION

I have an Associates Degree in Business Administration. I’m short too few credit hours in Journalism to justify not obtaining my Bachelor, but I chose to start my family instead. Still, it gave me a solid foundation to help authors turn their passion into a business. Besides, having all of those baby boys gave me ample opportunities to find and encourage my romantic side while reading numerous works of fiction. 

CERTIFIED & TRAINED

Yes! I am professionally trained in Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, Premier, Illustrator, and Scrivener. I’ve also completed a number of online courses for project management, publishing, digital marketing, content management, web and book cover design, graphic design, publishing, editing, formatting, SEO, and others.

EXPERIENCE

Over the years, I’ve attended, led, taught workshops, hosted round tables, and consulted at many conferences. Some include Ignite Book Summit, Allume (Relevant), Blissdom, She Speaks, A Woman Inspired, Writer’s Craft, Inker’s Con, and Indy Writers.
