Amy Babin

Best-selling, author, blogger, and publishing creative, Amy Babin, is a sweet and sassy little Cajun woman born and raised in south Louisiana.

She’s a jack-of-all-trades, an architect of ideas, and a self-professed information hoarder.

Amy writes in multiple genres under nom de plumes. She wrote the best-selling, non-fiction, faith read: Pursuit of Proverbs 31. It has since been completely revised and updated with 80% new content. Look for that release soon!

Professionally, she's an editor, marketing strategist, book cover designer, and web developer/designer with more than fifteen years of experience. She's proud to be a part of the team over at Mandy Roberson Media, a leading design and publishing agency.

Amy’s most exceptional talent is working with authors to flesh out their prose, defeat writer’s block and taking their book from idea to best-seller!

Amy has worked with celebrities, New York Times best-selling authors, and several of the major publishing houses. She’s even held a seat on the board of directors for one of the largest women’s ministries and non-profits in the country.

She’s most proud, however, of her success as the mom of four boys and one daughter-in-love. To put the icing on the cake, in February of this year, she married one of her childhood best friends, her soulmate, Kevin Babin. It may have taken them twenty years, but the only thing she cherishes more than getting to grow up with him, is getting to grow old with him.

She currently resides in the deep south with her sexy hubby, three of her sons, and their fur baby.

The unProfessional Bio:

I’m just a person, a lot like you. I have a story, hopes, dreams, and a family; some of it beautiful and some of it not. On more than one occasion it took God’s love and mercy to pull me out of prisons I’d built with my own mind.

Who am I? I’m someone who makes mistakes and is far from having it all together but, day by day, I get a deep glimpse into humanity and what LOVE truly is. I’m a woman with a message and I have creative ways of expressing it. This blog and its branches are just a small part.

Why do I share? Through my life experiences, God has given me a desire to help others to overcome their circumstances and enjoy their life. Life is too short for all the drama we tend to create when we aren’t happy with ourselves. All too often, we are the only one standing in our way.

Yes, this picture to the right is from a year ago, but it is hard to coordinate a day and time for guys who are now 23, 21, 19, and 9 years old who apparently have social lives that are more important than family photos. That particular photo was taken at my second-born son’s rehearsal dinner. They were all required to be there.

I share more photos in the pages of my blog and on social media. There you’ll get to know my man, my sons, and my daughter-in-love. I might even share a photo or two of my new grandbébé!
